Following the recent post in one of the Alur musicians facebook group by a one Jaljobi Wo'NyarAcer aka Anecoo omitto exposing the previous leadership of the Alur musicians Association-Nebbi municipality, for swindling Emyooga funds, meant to help Alur artistes in starting up other small business as the government plans to open concert

Well, the latest information reaching us indicate that, one of the Associations member, a one Elton loverboy, was suggested to become the chairman of the Association, as the previous one together with his committee were flushed out and jailed, an offer that Elton readily rejected.

 

For the fear of the same incident happening in future, you never know, thus tarnishing his hard worked for name in a blink of an eye. Besides, this is not the first time Ongom pulling out. Prior to last general elections, Elton ever showed interest in contesting for MP slot for Nebbi municipality, but we never saw not even a mere poster of him during campaigns.

 

We were further notified that the Association was to held another general meeting last weekend to elect new committee to move the Association forward. This is because after that incident, government stopped injecting more money in the Association till the swindled fund is first recoverd back. Watch this page for more.
